One-To-One Photography Classes

Why choosing the one-to-one photography classes

The one-to-one photography classes will teach you how to overcome the many unexpected situations Wildlife and Nature photographers have to face and how to be ready to suddenly change your strategy. Unpredictability is one of the key element of this kind of photography and something that adds excitement to practicing it. But it also requires a full understanding of your gear and how to choose the right technique at the right time.

The simple goal of the One to One classes is one: make you effective in getting the shot you want. There are many things one needs to be aware of in order to achieve that goal: composition, camera customization, animals approaching techniques and much more.

To be as effective as possible, the one-to-one photography classes are customized based on the client’s photographic experience. This makes them a great value and avoids discussing things he might already know.

Topics of the classes

Classes usually focus on a single skill each day to have enough time to practice together and ask as many questions on the daily subject as needed. Remember, the goal is to improve your own photography and this takes time and practice.

Here there is some example of the most recent One to One classes I have thought:

  • Birds in flight techniques and practice
  • Getting the perfect exposure in difficult situations
  • Camera controls and customization

Classes season

The One to One classes run throughout the year and adapt to the changing seasons and nature calendar. I’ll pick the location that better suits the kind of training you will need. Specific locations can be requested but you’ll have to sustain the extra traveling costs.

It’s important not to look at these classes only as a technical exercise. They will also give you a great chance to learn more about Wildlife and Nature Photography and will reconnect you with the nature around us. My very easy-going and practical approach and my funny jokes will make sure you’ll have a great and yet productive time.

Classes as a gift

You can also think about these classes for a gift. If you know someone that loves photography and would like to expand their knowledge, these classes could be the perfect present, and I’ll make sure they have a great time.

Recommended Gear

You will need to provide your own photographic gear but you’ll have the possibility of trying my cameras and lenses as well.

For wildlife photography, a mid to long range zoom is always a good option (70-300, 80-400, 150-500 etc.).

For nature photography (landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes), a wide lens is best, fixed or zoom doesn’t really matter (24-70, 16-35, 20, 24, 35 etc).

Clothing

Clothing will be discussed based on the kind of training you need and the current season.
